EDM Rope Bag

A durable, lightweight rope bag designed for ski mountaineering, glacier travel and general mountain use. Ideal as a Petzl RAD Line Rope Bag.

The Fjordalp EDM Rope Bag stores a 30m or a 60m RAD Line and also functions as a throw bag in crevasse rescue and abseil / rappelling situations. 

The regular size has enough capacity to fit most 30m ropes up to 8.5mm diameter, and most skinny ropes like the RAD Line up to 60m. Please note that a 60m RAD Line is a tight, efficient fit in the regular size.

The large shares the same dimensions as our size large Ultra Stuff Sack. It fits all skinny ropes like the RAD or PUR Line up to 65m with ease, along with many conventional 50m and 60m ropes. 

The EDM Rope Bag features our signature glove friendly open / close system for ease of use in tricky situations. The double layer base has two eyelets enabling a re-threaded figure 8 to be fed through and used as a clip-in point. A strong webbing loop at the collar means the bag can be clipped to gear or a harness and enables the rope to be easily fed back into the bag. 

Constructed entirely from UltraGrid fabric; a proven material that is incredibly strong and durable for its weight due to the double grid of UHMWPE Ultra Fibre. The main body of the fabric is recycled nylon with an internal waterproof PU coating and a PFC free DWR.
