Chasing powder is an art form; The Rider Social keep it mobile to maximise their chances of finding the best snow.
There's an abundance of choice these days for the rider looking for a guided backcountry trip in Europe. However, not many come with the bonus of being mobile in order to find the best snow, weather and terrain at the time. This is what sets The Rider Social apart, particularly where their Alps based trips are concerned.
With a base in Chatel in the Portes du Soleil, TRS are in a great spot to take advantage of the entire northern French and Swiss Alps, as well as the awesome local terrain. The Chamonix valley and the high peaks of the Swiss Valais are all just an hour or two away. Having access to these high altitude zones can make all the difference, especially during lean snow years.
And when weather systems head in from the south, the Mont Blanc Tunnel and the delights of the Aosta Valley and the Southern Alps aren't far away.
Even during Spring trips to Arctic Norway a car is always on hand. This is means the crew can take advantage of the tunnels, ferries and bridges that link up the peninsulas and islands of the Tromso / Lyngen paradise.
For winter 23/24, The Rider Social will be hitting Georgia, Norway, Romania and of course the Alps. All trips will be have the experience of a UIAGM mountain guide on hand to ensure the best snow will be found in the safest environment. Rider Social trips are filled entirely with splitboarders so snowboarder friendly routes are always chosen.
